I have the official Apple Legacy Recovery CD, 1998 edition - it was the last
one to have all the Apple II stuff on it. Specifically, it has all the GS/OS
versions, the last ProDOS 8, utils and diags for many Apple II peripherals
(VOC, High-speed SCSI, etc) - stuff you have to hunt and peck for on Apple's
legacy support site, at http://www.info.apple.com/usen/legacy/ but this is
organized on one CD (current as of '98 of course). The CD also happens to
have a ton of Mac stuff too - all the system disks up to 8.1. Damn handy.
Some people wanted to get software off of this disc but I've been too busy
until recently to help them out... so I made the dmg and if someone will
host it, I'll upload it. It's pretty big though, FYI, nearly a full CD worth
of stuff.
Most of this stuff is available for download from Apple - I say "most"
because I haven't made an exhaustive search but everything I've looked at on
the CD has also been on Apple's site. The CD itself is in HFS format. I
don't have software loaded on my Mac to make an ISO, hence the DMG.. Disks
stored on the CD are in img format. So, that means Mac users will have it
easy, PC users may have to work at it a little.
If anyone is interested, drop me a line.
