I can build you one, and if you tell me what you'd like on it besides GS/OS
Of course you can't install GSOS from a mass media, the installer requires the volumes of the disks online to work. Maybe someone could (or did?) hack the installer to work from a folder... Get that HFS file replaced to save an update step.
I want a CD which contains minimal GSOS and with all drivers installed, Focus, SCSI, CFFA, CD, etc.
It should contain any and all utils to test the II in every facet. They should boot into ProDOS and be able to select GSOS or progs or utils or Docs.
Divide the CD into GSOS stuff on a HFS partition, A2 stuff on ProDOS partitions. A series of menus could be made for the software. Maybe make a menu for each type pf PC, II, IIe/c, IIgs??
You may want to include any useful Freeware or PD software for a Newto2 people. Things like the aforementioned test progs and a Word Processor and some entertainment stuff like demos and user and any manuals you can find. maybe the FAQs and a getting started guide with web pages to find stuff. Maybe include anything that one would have to DL (legally of course) to save them a conversion trip form PC or Mac. Include disk images or shrink files as necessary for things that will require a diskette for install.
Suggested titles to include: - Applewriter II 2.1 (my personal fav) - Electric Duet - Prosel - Asimov - ADT - Focus Utils - SCSI Utils - Ramfast Utils - ... Just my 2 cents.
