I know Contiki works on the newer ethernet card and on the LANceGS. I have
a question:
Will it work on an Apple //e CARD?
And; can it then address etherent from there?
How...you might ask...could a LC (for example) access Ethernet in that the
only ethernet cards for that class of Mac used the PDS slot and the Apple II
card already has the PDS slot?
Well It could not, unless you used a EN/SC Assante Ethernet to SCSI adapter
BUT, a Mystic could. Mystic for those not in the know means a Color
Classic Mac with a 575 or 580 mother board in it. That board has a PDS slot
that can support the Apple II card AND a little slot that supports a modem
or, you can pull the modem and if you are lucky, find a ethernet NIC that
fits it. Farallon made one. My question is, with the Apple II running, can
it SEE that ethernet card with Contiki running?
