I asked Mike if the software was included (it wasn't). The reason given is 
that it wasn't around any more!

I'd infer from that that, should the community go through an effort to 
collect copies of the companion disks/software (either through OCR, dredging 
up floppies, "finding" images on Asimov, etc) and handed it off to Mike, 
there might be the possibility for distribution of some sort.  But that's 
just a hunch.

I'd pay for a CD/DVD full of the disk images.
