Here's the auction link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5221145053I think I figured it out. I could barely make out the word "ZOOM" on the board, and a little googling turned up ZOOM Technologies who in 1983 made a 300bps modem for the Apple II. So I reckon that must be it.
