Just a word of warning. The above-mentioned seller posted a message on
this newsgroup regarding an Apple //c+ for sale on 24 Jun 05. He was
very quick to answer my questions about the system and I purchased it
from him the same day, and paid by PayPal. I haven't received the
computer yet and he hasn't responded to my e-mails. I also noticed that
the same seller is advertising Apple //e systems for sale, and that from
some of the responses, at least one other buyer is having a similar
experience.
Dan, if you are reading this, hopefully this is just a misunderstanding
and the system is on its way. If so I'll gladly post another message
about it, but I thought I should mention this. I should also say that
this is the first time I have any problems with buying from someone
through this newsgroup.
Oh, and if anybody knows the seller and can provide additional info,
please do so.
Stephane
