as per your email i got the buy it now one for 39.95 plus 8.50 s/h...for
$43.45

now of course the catch is you have to walk me thru how to get it up..i
currently have an internal hub nothing to the
outside world...no cablemodem or dsl yet

but if i can get it up stable with fv/metal on that beast it will be 1 less
thing to do if/when i ever get
my bbs menagire...back up...knock wood..

remember i'm stupid...of the plug it in cross fingers variety...

and you may as well explain it here..so everyone can see it now or in the

the product i got as per terry olsen's recommendtion off ebay was this
one..i think they have (2) left at the buy it now price...
for anyone else on here that wants a piece of this action getting a boycott
type bbs (ask nice he will give you a copy) up on a
eithernet hub..then of course you can link like him to your fv/metal bbs
from the internet...(or in my case just get it up internally
for now on a hub and even thou i prob won't understand how it was done (i
don't program i work with the deaf/blind handicapped..how
i got into this stuff so far i've no clue..)...anyway i never understand
it..but i back stuff up really, really good..once it is working...i usually
can always get it back to where it was....

anyway for anyone else wanting in on this ...the link for the (2) left of
the serial to eithernet adaptor's terry olsen recomends for a buy
