ZipGS and TWGS only get power
from the slot.  It already has access
to the Apple BUS, it is connected
directly to the CPU socket.  Most
pins on an apple II slot run directly
to the CPU.

Slot 3 is a perfect spot for IIgs
accelerators because it won't interfere
with the 80 column firmware built
into the motherboard.  80 columns
uses a "phantom" slot, when the
firmware is active, circuitry on the
motherboard intercepts information
going to the address space of slot
3.

There are a few other cards which
will work in slot 3.  I think Uther
ethernet should work.  Quickie
scanner maybe.
