What I really like about the SVD is that it makes your Apple II completely 
solid-state, no moving motor components! Do you get any speed enhancements, 
NO because it runs off the Disk II controller card and is a timed device but 
you NEVER have to worry about diskette failure. Just load your stored disk 
image into the SVD and boot right off the SVD! No more transferring images 
back to your Apple II with ADT. What more could you want? I still believe 
there will come a day when diskettes will be hard to find and no longer 
available and the SVD will keep things rolling along.
