When I'm shooting pictures of museum exhibits, I'll frequently shoot a
closeup of whatever informational sign describes the exhibit.  If I don't,
it's anybody's guess as to whether I'll remember whatever it was if I pull
up the picture after a year or two (or more).  The photo can even be OCR'd
to extract the text from it, if I go to the bother of making a slideshow for
the photos (which are usually nothing more than a set of script-generated
HTML files).
