was there not some kinda z-ram c card or some such that you could run cp/m
and it was a 1 or 2meg card you installed inside (i may have the name wrong)
and i think? you could run a fx/20 mb external hd and i think there was a
20mb chinook external hd .that ran off the external floppy port with the
right software...hmmm..the apple //c LCD screen of course...some kinda power
supply case combo you could pack the lcd screen and such into with battery
etc was also available...hmmmm...then of course there was the green labeled
prototype version of the apple iic+..i think 1 sold on ebay within the last
year ...don't think it went for too much but can't remember...
you really don't want to ask me about maxed out stuff..i've played with
apple's since i got the orig 1983 apple //e ...so lots of toys have come and
gone since then
(was there a bubble memory card for the //c?)
the weirdest setup i have is an apple //e that was heavily modified and
re-labeled/named inside an out by DRAPPLE systems..it did drapple imaging
work for taking pics and analizing them for electron microscopes and such no
less..it is complete works docs..has dapple modified special (2) specialty
video cards for manipulating data/pics i guess along with regular montior
jack...a dapple modified apple //e accelerator card at least that is what
the rom chips on it are labeled...the keyboard is yanked and special plastic
cover put over it wtth 2 variable knobs...and extended keyboard...very
strange ...it might (can't remember) have a 3.5" super drive card...some
other oddball stuff too
found it on ebay..in something like antique pc systems or scientific or some
such...not under apple ii simply stated as "apple //e" for 100 bucks min
bid...and a pic nothing else...something about drapple modified
contacted the author..because and found out what it was used for..what was
in it etc and was only bidder i think
(i love it when they make a category mistake)
ah the good old days when i found that ramfast rev D for 15 bucks buy it now
at 1 am one morning..i think it was up for like 10min before i grabbed it
ah memories...
anyway...it would do no good for me to really find an apple 1 kit new in the
box mint...i'd simply fall over dead from shock..
