Dos 3.3 Games archived in a ProDOS HD image

Hi All,

A while ago there was a discussion about getting old DOS 3.3 games to
run under ProDOS. I took this as a challenge, and did a cursory scan
through the Asimov site, under the file-based games disk images.

Here is a disk image (Hard-Disk - 32MB) that will run under most
of the Apple II emulators that accept *.HDV images. "Apple //e
for Windows 1.12.6.0" works flawlessly with the Hard-Disk image:

http://www.turbo-2.com/apple/h32.zip

The text file in the ZIP-file lists the contents of the Hard-Disk image,
which includes Apple System Utilities 3.1, Copy II+ 9.1, and a pretty
lame "startup" Lo-Res selection menu offering limited options.

Press 'C' for Copy II +, 'S' for System Utilites, 'G' for Games, or
'6' to reboot a floppy in Slot 6. Any other key will do a "CAT" of
the root directory.

Note: in order to run a good percentage of the games, you must
unmark the text page from ProDOS list of reserved pages. To
do this, either type "POKE 48984,192" or simply press 'G' at the
intro screen, which will then RUN "GCAT" in the games directory.
GCAT does the poke for you, then performs a "CAT" of the game
directory.

Enjoy!
