    It's worth mention that no device every supported the internal modem
connector in the Apple IIc Plus. 

    There were at least two prototypes that were never released: an internal
modem card by Chinook, and a combination memory/modem card from Epic 
called the "M&M" (the latter was shown at AppleFest '88). I wonder how 
they intended to mount an RJ-11 connector or even thread phone cord 
out of the case, maybe the Apple security port?
