I wouldn't depend on eBay to set prices for anywhere else other than for
eBay. For example, late last year I bid on and won 3 sealed NIB Apple //c+
units with monitors, stands and imagewriters for about $50 to $90 ea. Then,
a couple of months later, the same seller had 2 more - one went for over
$300, the other for about $250. I didn't bother with them.... the pricing is
all over the place. Prior to getting these new ones, I bought several used
//c+ units on eBay and from other sources (private sales)... They usually
went for $50-$75 depending on their plastics and overall condition. None of
them came with monitors or any accessories except for a few that did have
memory cards. I've talked with others who've paid roughly the same for
theirs so I think that's roughly the fair market.
The only advice I can give you is that Apple //c+ computers are not rare.
Don't fall for the hype. They show up on eBay very frequently. Banks used to
give them away to customers for opening IRA's and checking accounts.
