OSX is a TOY.  Looks like a video game.  I guess
it may be good for general population (mindless
drones that interpret media as reality), but for someone
that actually wants to get something done with a
programmable electronic machine, the PC is the
way to go....

X86 in a Mac will just give you guys more software
to play with.  millions of open source softwares,
millions of documents available on how to program
them.

You do realize, don't you, that OSX is a BSD? Porting Linux apps to OSX is almost trivial, even using the same compiler (GCC), and there are a good number of open source ports.
