I have a SEARS HARDWARE less than a mile from my home, don't you? :o) There are also Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart and KMart usually have a pretty good selection of hardware. :o)
Orchard Supply/Hardware has a large selection of screws and bolts. I'm not too sure how far east they reach...
