Everyone wants to get a VOC and play with them, just to see what they'll do.
For some reason, VOCs have a mystique about them. The truth is, the power
and gee-whiz potential of the VOC was never realized. Aside from Apple's
bundled software, and a few nearly impossible to obtain titles out there,
nothing was written to fully exploit the VOC's capabilities. Unless you're a
true video geek who actually wants to overlay graphics and text on VHS
tapes, the card won't be getting much use.

And they're not that rare either. Don't fall for the hype on eBay. Late in
the game, Apple was practically giving them away through educational grants
when they marketed their multimedia packages to schools.
