Well, ANYTHING is "possible", but I can't say yes, no, or otherwise 
about your cable - Simply not enough information.

Any luck getting the CD-R to be seen if it's the only thing plugged in?
I didn't notice any mention of that in your other post, but I was in a 
hurry, so may have missed it.
