I haven't run KEGS32 for such a long time I've forgotten what extra
features it may have had or if there was anything special about the
interface. I still have the archive of it sitting here on my PC but
I'm quite happy with the actual KEGS.

Simulated scanlines I don't need. It may look more authentic but it
is nice have a solid look. You'd get the same thing using a Second
Sight card I believe.
If you wish to set the speed on the fly you can right click the mouse
when it is over the KEGS window to scroll through 1 MHz, 2.8 MHz, 8
MHz and full speeds.
I'm not sure what you mean by no on the fly disk mounting because when
I use F4 and go to the disk configuration menu and add a disk image to
one of the spots, when I return to the emulator it gets mounted just
like I had inserted a disk into a 3.5" drive or a removable hard
drive.
Full screen mode is apparently coming. I believe it works in the Mac
version at present but not in the Windows port. I'm not entirely sure
I could handle using a IIgs on a 17" screen, though. :-)
The status bar is a little annoying but I can ignore it pretty well
now. There are times when I will just put the window at the bottom of
my screen and hide that bar off the bottom of my screen and behind my
task bar. :-)
It would be nice at some point to have drag and drop support for disk
images but I don't mount and unmount disk that often so I don't mind
the way things work at present too much.

Yeah, the mouse pointer thing now is great. No more having to hit F8
to get the PC mouse pointer to disappear. I generally don't use my
emulator for watching demos so the border area is a bit of a waste
from my perspective. It would be nice if it was an option you could
turn on and off.
I hadn't actually tried viewing any 3200 colour images until I read
your message but it doesn't work for me either. I even tried all
three 3200 colour options in the configuration screen with no luck.
Using the Finder Extra called Eye didn't display 3200 images correctly
and the 3200 colour images from The Tinies didn't display right
either.
The one thing that isn't working correctly in v0.91 is the ability to
turn off the emulated joystick using the numeric keypad. This is kind
of annoying as I use a spreadsheet I created many years ago to keep
track of my finances and not being about to use the numeric keypad for
entering numbers bugs me. Mind you, I still haven't gotten around to
e-mailing Kent to let him know it doesn't turn off.

I really like the ability to use my Apple II communications programs
(Spectrum and sometimes ProTERM) as telnet clients.
One thing I've been wanting to try but unfortunately my current PC
only has one serial port so I haven't been able to yet, is to create a
null-modem cable to connect COM1 and COM2 on the PC together and use
Andrew Roughan's new Marinetti link layer to share the host PC's
internet connection. Mind you, if Geoff Weiss' mod to the KEGS source
to implement emulating a LANceGS card is ever added to the release
version of KEGS then that wouldn't be needed anymore.
