It depends. If you have a RamFAST SCSI card you can install operating
systems on any partition (up to 9 or 10) and when you boot the
computer you can hold down the number key on the keyboard for the
partition you want to boot from (I'm not sure if 0 is a valid
partition number key to use).
If you are using an Apple SCSI card I believe you need to use the
first partition only.
