Crossworks will not work with the serial ports in Windows.
You have to restart in DOS mode.  It will NOT work in
a MS DOS window either.

Get Zmodem program on Apple II, and use Hyperterminal
on the Windows side.  Then you can transfer directly from
Windows, and you don't have to press "go" on both sides.

with crossworks, you have to tell apple "receive" and tell
PC to "send".  With Zmodem, you tell the PC to SEND,
and the apple II will auto-detect the PC's send.  You don't
have to press any keys on the apple II.
