Re: Apple //gs questions.



In addition to the excellent suggestions already given, you might also
want to get some sort of mass storage device for the Apple II.  I'm
sure there are Vulcan hard drives and other used components that show
up on eBay once in a while, but there are currently two devices that
are still being produced and sold:

1. CFFA (CompactFlash for Apple):

I have one of these cards and it is excellent.  The latest run of board
(Run 3) is completed, but I'm sure Rich Dreher will make some more.

2. Microdrive (not to be confused with Hitachi Microdrive devices):

I haven't tried this card, but it's a general-purpose IDE controller
for the Apple II.
