The sources I've found so far say 5 years shelf life,
which means still wrapped with no holes or air leakage
of any kind in the package. I'd expect them to last
even longer than that. Most things last longer than
they are rated for. However, the longer they are shelved,
the greater the chance that they won't last very long
once opened.
