A very good choice, yes. I use a ROM03 IIgs, by preference due to
some of the slot features being present after setting to "Your Card".

I also love my Platinum IIe.

So far all I've tried have worked, except for the obvious, language
card not needed in anything but a II+, and of course clock cards which
are not needed in a IIgs because it has one built in. The IIgs also
runs 800K drives on the built in Smartport(slot 5), and 5.25" drives
on the built in Disk Port(slot 6). Mine has a superdrive card, and I
use a number of different hard drive solutions.

I sell new 5.25" disks for $3.00 for a box of 10. I also carry used 800K
disks which IMO is a better choice since I format each one for you, so
you don't get ANY bad disks. I also have a pack of 25 new disks without
sleeves, I think, they may be laying around here someplace for $12. I'm
sure the sleeves are here too. Ok, without the sleeves $10.
