That is a great list but it is a little out of date now. The Lost
Classics page that used to be on A2Central.com was never completed and
has not been made available elsewhere that I know of. The Treasure
Chest Project also had a decent list but again it disappearred quite
some time ago and probably would have been out of date now too.

I've been meaning to get hold of Howard Katz, who has pretty much led
the Lost Classics Project for the past several years, to see about
getting a good web site set up with everything listed.

This is just talking about programs that have been reclassified from
commercial or shareware status to shareware, freeware or public
domain.

As to a list of public domain, freeware and shareware, I know of no
lists of those types of programs other than the file lists available
on the FTP sites. However, the Time In A Bottle CD set from Syndicomm
probably has the largest collection of these types of programs. They
are all categorized and there are descriptions for each one. Most of
these files are available from other places, though, if your willing
to put the time and effort into it.
