The compact flash adapter is utilized as a hard drive. With a copy utility 
( shrinkit perhaps) you would copy the disks to the flash.

Will read the flash on the Windows side and manipulate the files. Also SCSI 
if you have such on the Apple and card on the PC.

There are lesser options to consider. It's a daunting task to be sure.
