Time In A Bottle is a two-disc CD-ROM compilation.

It's categorized, alphabetized, and has great descriptions of the files.
Lots of files. Tens of thousands of files. Apple II files. All in one
place.

If that's not worth $50 to you, then by all means, find, download and
organize those tens of thousands of files yourself. B-{)

This is a "gray" area that I hope does not generate much discussion, but I
hope people do contemplate some issues in their own minds, in silence.

A problem with large collections is that someone has put a lot of time
into the project, hopefully with some financial return. In turn, a lot,
if not most, public domain, freeware, and shareware titles assume that the
software will be distributed for minimal charge, not to exceed the cost of
the media/shipping.

So, is $50 a reasonable fee for the media?

I wouldn't charge more than $0.50 for CD media, and I can mail a CD for $0.49. (This is US dollars)

Two CDs? Definitely no more than $2.50 at the ABSOLUTE highest.

(As a fansubber who dabbled in mail distro I had to find these things out.)
