I built one. My II+ has taken a turn for the worse, unfortunately (and it
took some beer with it when the freezer it was controlling was told to stay
on for an extended time). It won't boot into ProDOS now, so I'm thinking
something funny might be going on with the language card.
(The adapter I built also tended to quit responding after it had been
running a while. I didn't get too far with chasing that bug down, as once
the control software was loaded up, I tended to leave it alone. It might
just have been a flaky connection between the keyboard and the adapter, or
something simple like that.
