This is a 41256-type DRAM, 120ns.  It is fine for Apple II
"memory expansion cards" and RAMworks-type AUX slot cards.

This is a 4164 120ns DRAM.  It will work in cards that accept
64 kilobit DRAMs, like the Saturn 128K card, but is not the
"usual" Apple II DRAM.

As Sam pointed out, if you actually cut the leads to get them off
the board, then the ICs will be hard to re-use.

Many PCs had socketed memory, and that makes removal and re-use
much easier.
