Note - 0 = "off"/"open", 1 = "on"/"closed", as appropriate for how the
blocks of DIP switches happen to be labeled on your particular SSC. Some
came labeled "on"/"off", some "closed"/"open", and some "1"/"0",
depending on the source of the switch blocks.

Terminal/Modem jumper block:
Pull it off the card and point the arrow on it at "Terminal" if it isn't
that way already.
On the IW2 end:
If you lift off the cover, and look in the lower left-hand corner (you
may need to slide the printhead to the right to get an unobstructed
view) you'll see two more blocks of DIP switches. "Reading" them from
left to right, they should be set as follows:

Again, 0 = off/open, 1 = on/closed. DON'T MESS WITH #5 AND #6 (the two
"X" values) on the right-hand group! Just take it from someone who did
in the "long ago", and went through hell trying to figure out how to put
'em back "right" - They make a hash out of anything printed if messed
with. Something to do with the timing of the pins firing as the head
crosses the page. Printed output gets all kinds of "wiggly" if you mess
with those two switches, and if you don't write the settings down,
you're gonna have fun trying to put them back right.
