Sony PSone LCD on Apple IIGs

Sorry if this posted twice, but I posted it last night and it hasn't shown 
up yet on my server.. so here it is again.

I was reading a web page about the Sony PS-One LCD screen (that littke 5: 
LCD that attaches to the playstation) and that inside it has wires for Red, 
Green, and Blue but it operates at NTSC scan rates.  So that sounds to me 
like it could nativly operate on the video signal of an Apple IIgs, Amiga, 
or Atari ST.  But before I go spending a lot of time I wanted to see if 
anybody else had done this.  I searched all over google and Yahoo and never 
found any website showing this to have been tried.  So I'm checking with 
you guys.
