Re: A Challenge to all takers...

Hi, Renando!

I've kept relatively (!) quiet in this thread, as I was waiting to
see clarification of your purpose and get some idea of the level
of interest.

I can really identify with your purpose--having fun with a system
that is easy to program, and building it yourself.

Note, though, that you titled this "A Challenge to all takers...",
which sounds like you intended to recruit folks to help you pursue
your purpose.

You have now clarified your intent--to have fun by doing it
yourself.

I think this is a very practical and laudable thing to do.
You should neither be surprised nor discouraged that few, if
any, are anxious to participate in "scratching your itches".
After all, you are the only one who has those exact "itches".
And you don't want it to be done soon, because then all the
fun would stop. ;-)

Others with similar desires will no doubt pursue their own
projects, since that is what they need to do.

People who want to "change the world" need to enlist many others
in their work, while those who only want to amuse themselves
have no such need.
