I rather prefer to program in C - specifically ANSI C - though, trying
to cram a program in 64K is not that big deal, .COM files on MS-DOS
are limited that way - going down to about 40K, you start to feel the
pinch.
40KB?! Luxury! I've just started programming in C for the Microchip PIC
microcontroller series. My first big project ran out of program space,
so I had to change to a micro with a larger ROM. The new one's got 4
kilowords of ROM (14-bit words, so equivalent to 7 kilobytes) and 224
bytes of RAM.
