Well, I was pretty disappointed with this particular eBay purchase. The
lady was selling copies, but didn't advertise the fact that they were
copies. I (mistakenly) assumed that she used decent media (she had a
printed a CD label sticker which covered the top surface of the disc, so I
couldn't tell the brand). Went to use the CD a few months ago, and all I
could get was a directory listing - couldn't actually read any files any
more.
It wasn't mishandled or anything - just went bad. Odd that I could get a
directory listing, but nothing else.
