So yes, Bill's card is %100 compatible as it stands. (As are any other memory cards that have a 4M limit.)

I wouldn't take that for granted. Orange Micro complained mightily
in 1986. Before the IIgs came out, they designed the RamPak4GS to be
DMA compatible based on the information supplied by Apple. Unfortunately
Apple made some changes after that and didn't tell Orange Micro. By the
time they found out the cards were already built. I have card number 187
made in October 1986.
