Hi, I'm pretty new to trying out linking my AppleIIe to my PC.
I still can't figure out what can a Null-Modem connection mean for me.
The only thing I think is a serial port on my Apple IIe is male
connector that has 9 pin. I'm also worried I might upset some people
here but I've searched this over and have only seen 5-pin DIN talk.
Can someone please clear this up for me? I'm not happy with ebay
traders selling the SSC cards more than the machine's worth.. and am
pretty familiar with some basic electronic terminology and soldering
wires if I have to.
Another question, can I make a null-modem link to the card (AppleIIe)
where my DiskDrive connects to? I'm just dumbly assuming this is what
people are referring to as a Communications Card. (Not the Super
serial card I read up on often)
