: Hi Bill,
:
: Excellent, thank you for the reply! - I hooked it up and
: was having a massive conflict of some sort. I thought I had
: a problem with using Slot 5 as My Card and Slot 6 as the
: Smart Port in the setup. It turns out the CFFA card just
: doesn't like to play with others in a IIgs! I had it all setup
: in my //e platinum and it worked peacefully together, but
: not in the IIgs. The workaround? Well let's just say that
: if I want to boot my CFFA I have to type PR#1 :)
:
: So as it is now, my IIgs works with this setup:
:
: Slot 1 - CFFA 128 MB
: Slot 2 - Super serial card (don't ask - lol!)
: Slot 5 - Superdrive card
: Slot 6 - Smart port
:
: Slot MEM - AE 1.5 Meg RAM card
: (Speaking of which, when are the RAM4GS going to be
: available again?!)
:
: And it would absolutely not boot from the CFFA in
: any other slot than 1 ... strange indeed!

You need to set the proper boot slot in Control Panel.
If you set boot to slot 6, it should, should mind you,
pass the 5.25, 3.5" and all others to get to where it is.
If your CFFA is in slot 7, the only setting can be slot 7
for it to boot. That's just how it is. :o)
