Is there any free utility for testing memory? I got an Apple RAM card
for my IIGS and populated it with DRAMs I pulled from some old PC parts
to get 1MB (upgrading to 2.125MB).
After installing the card I was able to create a nice big RAM-disk but
when I loaded some archives onto it and tried to open them with
shrinkit it crashed. Each archive was around 550K and neither one could
be opened. Does it make sense to suspect the RAM in this case? (the
files could conceivably have been corrupt while transferring over
serial cable from the 486 although it has worked fine in the past)
