When I first got back into the Apple II scene some years ago, I didn't know
what was fair value for what. I think I spent way too much on things that I
could have gotten for less, had I shopped around or just simply waited
patiently for it to come my way. I also bought junk items when better
options were available, that I just wasn't aware of at the time, for
example - buying a new CMS SCSI when I could get a used RamFAST for the same
$$$ or just a little more.

The people who are buying this stuff at outrageous prices are either
desperate, or clueless noobs.
