Re: Moving binary files to /RAM

This is not true with ProDOS' /RAM. To make the best use of the memory,

13 sounds right... I hit that roadblock a while back, so I've been using
a subdirectory all along. Could it be that the directory is fragmented
in a way that ProDos has to sspend more time looking for the last files?

I don't think so. However, if you run a program which makes use of the aux' 64k you may see problems.

I'm wondering if you might have a weak ram chip.

I feel myself very quickly going out of my depth... :(

Hang in there. The results will be worth it.
