Everyone here knows this - that's not the issue. Out of print Apple
// software is still protected by copyright regardless of what many
wannabe legal-types here try to proclaim.
Charles ("Doctor Tom") Turley was (and still is) the most notorious
Apple // pirate. This person blatantly stole the work of many Apple
// developers and even went as far as sector-editing various software
to include his own twisted name as an alleged "author". Outstanding
Apple // programmers like Richard Bennett and Nathan Mates were
incensed with what Turley was doing to the Apple // community and
ultimately embarked on a crusade to rid such crud from the A2 world.
In the case of Nathan Mates however, he couldn't quite act in a
rational manner amongst csa2 participants and soon departed the A2
world forever.
