Apple IIe Platinum Keyboard pinouts

I have searched Google but can't seem to find anything helpful.

What I want to do is take this new Apple IIe Platinum keyboard I have and 
maybe create my own keyboard encoder using a PIC processor.

For now, I would probably just make the input light up some LEDs but 
eventually, I would want it to work on some other projects of mine.

So, does anyone know of any information that might help in such an 
adventure?  Pinouts, programming tricks, etc?
