We sold our Apple ][e at a garage sale 10 years ago. But I kept our
diskettes. And now I'd like to find a way to transfer our files to my
XP machine.
Specifically, we made an animation in Basic. I have read some posts
about ASCII and modems. Can anyone point me to an article that gives a
step-by-step guide. If I buy 2e diskette drive from eBay, can I plug
that to the serial port on my XP machine? Or can I put those old 2e
diskettes into my old 5" diskette drive on my Windows 3x machine
assuming my PC is running one of these Apple emulators?
Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times. I'm just a guy looking
for a nostalgia. (It was either this, or trying on my old "Be tough
like me, Mr. T t-shirt.)
