: Hi everyone,
:
: I have a few DuoDisk drives that have problems with their analog boards;
: Drive 1 works, but Drive 2 does not. I have swapped the drives to make
sure
: the problem resides in the controller and not the drives themselves.
:
: Is there any company out there that can repair these cards? It would be
: nice to make these drives fully functional.

They are repairable, but, parts are hard to come by these
days. Analog parts such as, resistors, caps, etc... are not
a problem, but TTL parts are. The multifaceted chips are
not made anymore and can be found but with much more
difficulty that ever before. I may have an old board that I
can scavange, but finding them in my mess will be a chore.
I plan to go through all of it over the next few days to see
what I have that I can sell, so I'll let you know if I come
across any boards I can pull parts from. :o) Keep in
touch.
