Heh heh! I hadn't considered that, but you definitely lose the high
freqs with age. I remember taking an electronics class when in my 20's.
Someone complained about the whine from a TV flyback xformer. The
teacher said "Just wait a few years. You won't hear it anymore!"

I'm 33 and I can still hear it.  Not enough rock concerts in my youth,
I imagine.

I used to hear flybacks, too.

Then I enjoyed Blue Cheer in concert...

Now there's a band one hasn't heard of in a while...

Of course, my youthful days of pounding piles of potassium chlorate
and sulfur mixture with a hammer have probably had some cumulative
