Anyone downloading "The Tomb of Razaak" from the Eamon Adventurers
Guild should be aware that this game has nothing to do with the
Fighting Fantasy role-playing gamebooks.
Apparently I inadvertently used the name of one of their characters
when I was dreaming up my Eamon game. I discovered this only a few
minutes ago. I thought the name was my own creation, but it's likely
that I saw the name while surfing the net and it stuck in my
subconscious. I don't think there's a copyright violation involved
here, as the FF character is a demon-wizard in a fantasy universe,
whereas mine is the reptilian emperor of a long lost empire in a
science fiction setting.
Matthew, maybe this should be mentioned on the Guild's website, perhaps
as a footnote to Tom's review.
Damn, this is awkward.
