Re: Marinetti and DNS

Recently I downloaded the current version of marinetti from Sourceforge
and gave it a go... same problem. I've tried several name servers, but
whatever app I'm using (marinetti telnet, arachnid, telnet nda) just
times out. There is precious little in the way of documentation
available, so I'm wondering if anyone has come across this and how (if)
it can e resolved???

On a sightly related note... is it at all possible to use ProTerm with
Marinetti?

Hmm. I use Marinetti (latest version) with a somewhat-complicated LAN setup and no worries for me. It looks for the gateway and the DNS machines -- as I remember 'cause my IIGS is not on at the moment -- and I have to supply both. With a dial-up setup, I imagine you'd have to do the same. That may not be much help, but doesn't your ISP give you both?
