Well, I looked through the FAQ and eventually found my way to the
DOS33.DMP and instructions. So far I seem to have successfully made the
boot disk. Pretty slick ;)
I ran a regular serial crossover cable from an old PC laptop over to
the IIGS. Then I hooked up my custom adaptor to the IIGS modem port
(really just 3 wires that I jammed in the holes!!). I booted windoze
3.1 on the laptop and ran the terminal program. I set both sides to
600, 8, N, 1, and no flow control (in the IIGS control panel I turned
on 'buffering' because it sounded good, not sure if it made a
difference). I entered IN#2 at the basic prompt and then sent the
DOS33.DMP file from windoze. ~8 minutes later I was ready to INIT a
floppy.
Thanks also to cbmeeks, I ordered a few goodies at that site.
