If you're trying to remove caked on dust I would recommend removing the
board from the case and washing the board in a tub of warm water with a
small amount of detergent. A small paint brush helps to get the dust out
of the corners. Then rinse it several times with fresh water and leave
it to dry in a warm place for a couple of days, preferably somewhere
with a bit of air flow. As long as it's dried off quickly fresh water is
harmless to any of the electronic components.
