: Okay, Bill's busy with a project, so I'm going to ask here. It all
: started when I got a ZipGS for my GS. Plugged it in, turned it on,
: wouldn't work. Talke to the guy who sold it to me, and suggested it
: might be the DIP configuration. Went back, changed the DIPs - still
: nothing. No power light, no friendly beep. I thought it might be the
: power supply, which I replaced. Now I get a light, and some colorful
: blurry lines across the screen, but no beep. Took out the card and
: tried it again - same thing.

Sounds like your cable or one of the connectors
on it are not up to par. Try cleaning the pins
on the plug to the GS motherboard.

: Why do I have the feeling I'm going to be looking
: for another GS?

Easy check there. Just restore the CPU
and see if it works then. :o)
